Miniatures Museum of Taiwan

Miniatures museum of Taiwan is the first of its kind in Asia, where the exhibits are primarily 1/12 scale size doll houses made of normal materials. The Rose Mansion collected by the museum was listed as one of the 10 most significant miniature art work of America 25 years.

A trip through this museum is like travelling back in time, where the French salon of Louis XV, Scottish clothing store, horse-drawn carriage on the streets, and women in pettiskirts can all be seen shrunken down in realistic street settings. There are even the scenes right out of Snow White and the seven dwarves. The intricate miniature world created by woodwork, metalwork and fabrics will mesmerise adults and children alike.

The IT Park alleys next to the museum have many coffee houses and restaurants, and you will not be disappointed at the selection. The Tripodking and Oldsichuan hot and spicy pots here are also worth a taste.
